Minute by the Acting Auditor General.
Unfortunately the Crown Agents have not been requested to keep a separate account of Ordinary Expenditure, Special Fund, and Investments, so they mix up all the monies they receive, whether for Ordinary Expenditure or for Investments, in their Common account.
The last account we received from them was to 31st May in which a balance against us of £1,233.3.7 is shown; but there are remittances (from Special Fund monies) that will mature in the beginning of June, amounting to £9,411.9.2 which, I think, they will take to pay the £1,233.3.7 we owe.
